The Act Six Leadership and Scholarship Initiative is Oregon's only full-tuition, full-need scholarship for emerging urban leaders who want to use their college education to make a difference on campus and in their communities at home.

  • Act Six Essay Writing Workshop
    As you prepare to submit your Act Six application by October 19, we are excited to work with Black United Fund to host an essay writing workshop to help you complete your application with excellence. We highly recommend you attend this event, but space is limited to 200 students.

      Cost: $5 buys you lunch, a binder full of materials, and a personal writing coach

  • Online Application Now Available, Due October 19
    The new Act Six application for fall 2010 is now available and must be completed online.  Begin your online application now and use the summer to get a jump start on the October 19, 2010 deadline.

  • Twenty One Newest Act Six Scholars Head to Campus
    Portland Leadership Foundation, George Fox University and Warner Pacific College announced in January that the following students were been named the newest Act Six scholars in Portland. Collectively, their scholarships are worth nearly $2.1 million over four years.  After wrapping up their training, the scholars head to campus this fall.
